Lottery Pick: Future Stars

Well well, surprise, surprise. The Knicks land the number 8 spot to pick out of the draft. This miracle is greatly needed for the less than hopeful Knicks. Stephen Curry, Jonny Flynn, Tyreke Evans and Earl Clark can all be future Knicks stars...
Stephen Curry:Is the son of former NBA player Dell Curry and volleyball star Sonya Curry. He stands at 6 foot 3 inches tall and 185 pounds. Coming out of Davidson College his junior year he decides to drop out and enter into the NBA draft. Curry knows he's good but not good enough to be the top 5 picks. Curry decided to stay at Davidson a year longer so he can develop as a point guard. Personally I feel this wasn't a bad idea because he did play as a shooting guard most of his college and high school career. On January 3, Curry passes the 2000 point mark in his career when he scored 21 points against Samford. Curry does it again, four days later he scored 29 points against Duke and became the second leading scorer in Davidson's history with a point total of 2,488, what an awesome player.
Jonny Flynn: For Jonny a change to the Knicks as his first team in the NBA wouldn't be as drastic, since he wore orange for the past two years in college at Syracuse University. Just 3 inches shorter than Curry and at 186 pounds flynn is hands down one of the top point guards in college basketball. His stat sheet may not be as great as Curry's, but he does carry his own name, unlike Curry who was already looked at because of who his daddy was. In his senior year, he was ranked as the number 22 overall recruit and number 4 point guard, and was a McDonald's All American, you go boy! As a freshmen he showed nothing but promise for the rest of the season. As you may now, NBA star Carmelo Anthony attended Syracuse University and he held the record for most points scored in a freshmen's first game, but Flynn beat it scoring 28 points. Not only is he a good basketball player, but he is cute, he would fit right in with the Knicks since they have a couple of cute players on their team already.

Tyreke Evans: Freshmen phenom, Tyreke Evans of the University of Memphis has decided to enter the NBA draft as his first year comes to a close. He can be considered the Hail Mary for the Knicks, in his sophmore year of high school he was often compared to NBA all-star Tracy McGrady. In his senior year of high school he averaged 32.1 points per game. He played in the McDonald's All American game, he got MVP, a double double; 21 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists, which ultimately help the East to get the "W" over the West.

Earl Clark: "E5" Is the what's the knicks been missing.. a big man that could put in work down low. Don't get me wrong now David Lee been doing fine but he needs some help, and Clark might be that guy. Just take a look at his rap sheet.. click here for his honors achieved.

  1. Crystal,

The reports on these kids are good, but be sure to stick to writing that gives us your opinion.
